Crosfields School Pupil Wins National Prize for Academics
Ameya Dhanjal from Crosfields School wins the ISA Whitbread Memorial Prize for her outstanding academic achievements and leadership.

Ameya stood out among nominees from all over the country. Her teacher, Richard Ebbage, praised her dedication and character. He said she embodies the values of Crosfields pupils.
Ameya achieved top GCSE grades and earned a sports scholarship in Year 8. She captained the hockey and cricket teams and played for Sonning Hockey Club’s Ladies team.
She also took on leadership roles, including senior prefect and house captain. Ameya led her school’s Interact club, raising over £5,000 for charity.
Ameya believes in determination. She said, “If you want something done, you have to drive it.”
She will receive her award at the Houses of Parliament in February.
