Clapham: A young woman was just trying to catch her bus after a night out when Aaron Black, 37, jumped out from behind a bus stop. He started “aggressively masturbating” while staring right at her. Can you imagine how terrifying that must have been?
This guy has a history, too. He’s been in trouble for similar stuff since 2010, racking up charges for exposure and sexual assault. It’s like he just can’t help himself. Most of his creepy acts have happened at bus stops and parks all over London, including places like Lewisham and Shoreditch.
When he was caught this time, he called it “a slip” and claimed he sees women as his sisters now. Yeah, right! The judge, Anne Brown, wasn’t buying it and said he needs to be locked up to keep women safe.
So, on January 8, Black showed up at Kingston Crown Court for sentencing. The prosecutor read a statement from the victim, who described how he jumped out from the shadows at a bus stop near Clapham Common at 1 AM. She said it was terrifying and disgusting, and she froze instead of running away.
Thankfully, her bus arrived, and she managed to snap a photo of him before getting on. That’s pretty brave! Black’s been in and out of trouble for years, with a long list of convictions. He even got two and a half years in jail back in 2017 for multiple counts of outraging public decency.
After getting out, he just kept reoffending. In 2022, he was jailed again for pulling his pants down in front of a young woman in Wimbledon. He was banned from certain parks but broke that order by showing up at Clapham Common.
In court, he claimed he’s trying to cut back on the porn he watches, which he says triggers his behavior. But the judge wasn’t having it. She sentenced him to two years in prison, saying the public needs protection from him.
After the sentence, Black shouted to the judge that he’s been improving and apologized, but it’s hard to take that seriously after everything he’s done. It’s just a wild story that leaves you shaking your head.
