Dallas: CeeDee Lamb’s season is officially over. The Cowboys announced that he won’t be playing for the rest of the year because of a shoulder injury that’s been bothering him.

He hurt his shoulder back in November but kept pushing through it. Unfortunately, recent tests showed that it got worse, and now he needs treatment. The good news is he won’t need surgery for now.

The Cowboys released a statement saying that after more exams, they decided to rule him out for the last two games of the season. They mentioned he’ll be going through a treatment process instead.

Even with the injury, Lamb had a solid season, racking up 1,194 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games. He signed a big four-year, $136 million extension in August, so he’s set to stay in Dallas for a while.

Despite a recent win against the Buccaneers, the Cowboys are struggling at 7-8 and have been knocked out of playoff contention. They’ve had a tough time with injuries, especially with quarterback Dak Prescott still recovering from his own injury.
