Dallas: So, here’s the scoop. Cowboys executive Stephen Jones just confirmed that Trevon Diggs is out for the rest of the 2024 season. He’s dealing with a knee injury, and it sounds like it’s going to take a while to heal.
Apparently, Diggs has had some knee problems for a bit now. Jones mentioned on the radio that he suffered a new injury related to cartilage. Ouch! That means he’ll need surgery, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be back in time for training camp next summer.
Jones said, “I don’t think he’ll be a player during training camp. I think his timeline is going to be right about the start of the season.” So, it’s a waiting game for now.
Let’s not forget, Diggs tore his ACL early in the 2023 season, so he’s no stranger to long rehab journeys. But that doesn’t make this any easier for him. Fingers crossed he gets back on the field soon!
