Des Moines Couple Identified in Christmas Murder-Suicide Case
Authorities have confirmed the identities of a couple involved in a tragic Christmas murder-suicide in Des Moines

Des Moines: It’s a heartbreaking situation. The police have identified the couple involved in a murder-suicide that happened on Christmas. Salvador Carreon, 60, shot his wife, Leanne Carreon, 53, before taking his own life.
The incident took place at their home around 4:13 p.m. on Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found Salvador already dead and Leanne in critical condition. Sadly, she later passed away at the hospital.
This tragic event marks the 17th homicide in Des Moines this year. It’s just so sad to see something like this happen, especially during the holidays.
