Gatwick: So, here’s the scoop. A family had their luggage swiped right at Gatwick Airport, and now the cops are on the hunt for the thief.
Sussex Police have put out some CCTV footage of a guy they want to chat with about the whole mess. It seems this theft happened while the family was distracted at the check-in area.
The suspect is said to be in his 30s, wearing a baseball cap, and he made a quick getaway. He hopped on a bus to Crawley and even tried to use the stolen bank cards later on.
Inspector Mark Robinson mentioned how upsetting this was for the family, especially since they were gearing up for a holiday during the busy festive season.
They’re really hoping someone can help identify this guy. If you’ve got any info, Sussex Police would love to hear from you. Just quote serial 1097 of 12/12 when you reach out.
