Jacksonville: This morning, it’s pretty chilly out there. Temperatures are hanging around the upper 30s in inland southeast Georgia, while the coast of St. Johns County is a bit warmer, close to 60 degrees.

Today’s forecast is cool with some gusty northeast winds. Highs will mostly be in the upper 50s, but a few areas south of Jacksonville might hit the low 60s.

Later this morning, we can expect some showers to roll in along the NE Florida coast, moving up into Georgia by this afternoon. Don’t worry, though; the rain amounts will be light and won’t reach too far inland.

Looking ahead, Christmas Eve is shaping up to be mostly sunny and pleasant. We’ll see a few more clouds on Christmas Day, but it should stay nice and dry.

For today, expect partly cloudy skies with a few coastal showers, and the high will be around 59 degrees. Tonight, it’ll clear up and get chilly, dropping to a low of 44.

As for the rest of the week, Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs around 64, and Wednesday will be partly sunny, reaching up to 69. Thursday might bring some clouds and a brief shower, with highs around 68.

Friday and Saturday will also be partly to mostly cloudy with a chance of isolated showers, and temperatures will be in the upper 50s to low 70s. Sunday looks similar, mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers.

Stay warm and enjoy the holiday season!
