CMC Excited for 2025, Believes 49ers Are ‘Pissed Off’ in Right Ways
Christian McCaffrey is eager for the 2025 season, feeling motivated after a tough year with injuries and watching his team struggle

Santa Clara: Christian McCaffrey is pumped for the 2025 season after a rough 2024. He missed a lot of games due to injuries, but now he’s ready to bounce back.
“I’m excited,” he said. McCaffrey feels that the team’s frustration is a good sign. It shows they care and want to improve. He only played four games last season, which was tough for him.
After dealing with an Achilles injury, he faced a PCL injury that ended his season. Thankfully, he didn’t need surgery, just some rehab. Now, he’s almost back to full strength.
“I’m feeling great and progressing well,” he shared. Watching his teammates struggle without him was hard, but it’s fueling his motivation for the future.
McCaffrey knows what it’s like to face setbacks. He’s been through tough seasons before, and he’s learned that it’s all part of the game. He’s ready to put in the work this offseason.
“We need to learn from our mistakes and get ready for OTAs,” he said. He’s determined to come back stronger and help his team succeed next year.
Even though he’ll take some time away from the facility, he’ll keep training and rehabbing. McCaffrey is looking forward to a fresh start in 2025.
