Clydebank: The folks who had to leave their homes after a fire in a flat are finally back. It was a scary situation, but everyone is safe now.
The fire broke out at Burnside Court on Scott Street around 2:50 PM on a Friday. It really tore through the place.
One woman went to the hospital just to be safe, and five others were checked for smoke inhalation right there at the scene.
Police Scotland said they don’t think the fire was set on purpose, which is a relief. Everyone who was evacuated can now return home.
A spokesperson from the police shared that they were alerted about the fire at Burnside Court and that emergency services were quick to respond.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service got the blaze under control, and thankfully, no one was seriously hurt.
It’s good to know that the residents are back in their homes, and the fire wasn’t anything malicious.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been asked for more details, but for now, it seems like everyone is okay.
