Clydebank: A fire broke out in a flat today, and it was quite a scene. Four people had to be evacuated, and one woman was taken to a hospital in Glasgow.

The fire started around 2:50 PM at Burnside Court, which is off Scott Street in Dalmuir. Paramedics checked everyone for smoke inhalation right there on the spot.

The woman who went to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital was taken there just as a precaution. Thankfully, it sounds like she’ll be okay.

Emergency services were still on the scene well into the evening, and police had taped off Scott Street to keep things safe.

A spokesperson from Police Scotland mentioned they were alerted about the fire at 2:50 PM and that they’re looking into what caused it. They’re still gathering all the details.
