SAN DIEGO: A 33-year-old guy named Antonio Medina Jr. from Chula Vista just got hit with a hefty 25 years-to-life sentence. He admitted to some really awful stuff, like molesting young girls and having a ton of child sexual abuse material.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of lewd acts on a child and one for possessing that material. The authorities found over 1,000 videos of abuse, plus an old laptop with recordings of him molesting nine girls aged 4 to 9 between 2011 and 2015.

During the investigation, they managed to identify some of the victims, which helped them prove that the crimes could be prosecuted in San Diego.

District Attorney Summer Stephan made it clear that this predator’s time of causing harm is over. He’ll be behind bars for a long time for the terrible things he did to those little girls.

She emphasized how crucial it is for victims and their families to come forward. Reporting these crimes can help bring justice and prevent other kids from suffering the same fate.

It’s heartbreaking to think about the long-term effects of child sexual abuse. Victims often face challenges like depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts. It’s a tough road, but there’s hope for healing.
