Charlotte: Chuba Hubbard has been lighting it up for the Panthers this season. He really showed off his skills in Week 16 against the Cardinals.
In that game, he rushed 25 times for 152 yards and scored two touchdowns, leading the Panthers to a thrilling 36-30 overtime victory. His first touchdown got the ball rolling for Carolina, and the second one? That was the game-winner!
Hubbard dashed 21 yards for that final score, and before that, he had a nice 28-yard run to set it all up. It was a fantastic performance that caught everyone’s attention.
Because of that game, the NFL named him the NFC Offensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. Pretty cool, right?
This season, he’s already hit career highs with 250 carries, 1,195 rushing yards, and 10 rushing touchdowns. The Panthers even signed him to a contract extension earlier this year, so he’ll be back next season, looking to improve those numbers and help the team rack up more wins in 2025.
