Glasgow: A fire broke out in a house, leaving three people hurt, including a child. Sadly, a cat didn’t make it.
Firefighters battled the flames for over four hours in Bridgeton on Saturday. Paramedics treated the injured right there.
Smoke and flames were seen pouring from the roof, creating quite a scene. Fire crews wrapped up their work around 8:50 PM after securing the area.
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they got the call around 4:45 PM. They sent three fire engines to tackle the blaze.
They confirmed there were three casualties, including one child, who were taken care of by the ambulance service. It’s really sad about the cat.
