The Chiefs take an early lead in Pittsburgh with a touchdown from Mahomes to Worthy, but miss the extra point attempt

Pittsburgh: The Steelers kicked things off first, but the Chiefs quickly took charge. Patrick Mahomes connected with Xavier Worthy for a seven-yard touchdown on their opening drive.
Worthy celebrated a bit too much, lifting his shirt and getting flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct. That made Harrison Butker’s extra point a bit trickier, and he ended up missing it.
So, the Chiefs are up 6-0 with just under ten minutes left in the first quarter. They only needed to cover 42 yards for that score, thanks to a solid 25-yard punt return from Nikko Remigio.
They started the drive with a few runs, then Kareem Hunt came through on a fourth down. Mahomes made a couple of nice passes and even scrambled for some extra yards, but they had to burn two timeouts along the way.
