London: Nathan Jones, the manager of Charlton Athletic, has made it clear that they don’t need to sell players before bringing in new signings. He’s been pretty straightforward about it, saying they can still make moves in the transfer window.

Jones mentioned that this transfer period won’t be as busy as last year, especially since they had a lot of new faces come in. However, they’re finding it tough to reduce the squad size. Many players are on contracts that other clubs might not be able to match.

He told the South London Press that if they find the right player, there’s no need to move anyone out first. The club owners have been supportive, and they want to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Jones also pointed out that they might need to let a few players go since the squad is a bit too big right now. He’s looking to bring in one or two key players to boost their attack.

On a positive note, Kayne Ramsay is back training after dealing with a knee injury. Jones is excited about his return, saying Ramsay is a solid player who showed great potential before his injury.

He’s hopeful that by the end of the month, Ramsay will be back in action and ready to contribute to the team.
