Now, he’s excited to move into a new place in Shoebury soon. Charlie Boy’s Angels, a local charity, has been a huge help.
Lee has been living in his car for months, often in freezing conditions. He’s grateful for the support he received, especially for his rescue dog, Lara.
The charity provides essential items and helps people find pet-friendly housing. Lee says having a stable home will improve his mental health.
He looks forward to relaxing in his new space and rebuilding his life. Before this, Lee worked at IBM for 20 years, managing projects for the 2012 London Olympics.
He’s also been volunteering at St Vincent’s Centre, where he first met Charlie Boy’s Angels. Lee appreciates all the help he’s received and feels hopeful for the future.
