Los Angeles: The Chargers really brought their A-game against the Patriots. They crushed them 40-7, which was just what they needed to secure a playoff spot.

Justin Herbert was on fire, throwing for 281 yards and three touchdowns. It was a solid performance that helped the Chargers clinch that wildcard spot.

Meanwhile, the Patriots didn’t have the best day. The home crowd was not happy and booed them off the field after the game.

Over in another game, the Denver Broncos missed their chance to grab the last AFC playoff spot. They lost to the Bengals in a nail-biting overtime match, 30-24.

Joe Burrow was impressive, throwing for 412 yards and three touchdowns. He connected with Tee Higgins in the final moments to keep the Bengals’ playoff hopes alive.

The Bengals now need to win their last game against the Steelers and hope for some luck with other results.

As for the Broncos, they needed a tie to secure their playoff spot. Now, they have to beat the Chiefs, who are already the top seed in the AFC, to make the playoffs for the first time in nine years.

On a different note, the Rams are closing in on the NFC West title after a tight 13-9 win against the Cardinals. Kyren Williams scored the only touchdown for the Rams, and they’re looking strong with 10 wins this season.

They just need to avoid a loss and hope for a bit of luck in the final round of matches next week.
