Atlanta: So, Jimmy Carter has passed away at the age of 100, and it’s a big deal. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called him a “true humanitarian” and praised his tireless work for peace.

Carter died peacefully at his home in Georgia, surrounded by family. Albanese shared that Carter’s legacy is all about the lives he changed and uplifted.

He was president from 1977 to 1981, but his real impact came after that. Carter helped build over 4,000 homes with Habitat for Humanity. That’s pretty amazing, right?

Albanese said Carter dedicated his life to helping others, fighting disease, and promoting human rights. His wife, Rosalynn, was always by his side, supporting him through it all.

It’s sad to think Rosalynn passed away last November, but their love story lasted 77 years. Albanese summed it up well: the world is a better place because of Jimmy Carter.

Even Opposition Leader Peter Dutton chimed in, calling him a man of “deep morality.” Sure, Carter had his challenges during his presidency, but he earned respect for his post-presidential work.

His humanitarian efforts even won him a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002. It’s clear that his heart was in the right place, and he made a real difference.
