Police seek public help after two tram workers were assaulted in separate incidents in Greater Manchester

Greater Manchester: Police have released CCTV images of two individuals they want to talk to after two tram station workers were assaulted within just three days.

These incidents happened at the Bury and Altrincham interchanges. The first assault occurred at Altrincham on November 6, 2024, around 10:45 PM.

Officers are particularly interested in speaking with the man shown in the images related to this incident. Then, just two days later, another attack took place at Bury interchange on November 8, 2024, at 5 PM.

Again, police are looking to identify the person in the second image connected to this assault. They shared these images on January 15, hoping someone might recognize them.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about these incidents to step forward. If you know anything or can identify the individuals, please reach out.

For the Altrincham incident, you can call GMP at 101 and mention log 31 from November 7, 2024. For the Bury incident, refer to log 2355 from November 8, 2024.
