Catford: It’s been a tough time for Savannah, the daughter of Fiona Holm, who was murdered by her boyfriend. She’s been dealing with the heartache of not having her mum’s body found for 18 long months.
Fiona was last seen on June 20, 2023, leaving her home. It took nine days for anyone to report her missing. Her partner, Carl Cooper, was sentenced to life in prison for her murder, but sadly, her body is still missing.
Cooper has a dark past too; he was convicted of murdering another girlfriend back in 2022. Now, police are offering a £20,000 reward for any information that could help find Fiona’s remains.
Savannah shared how sickening it feels to think about her mum’s body still being out there. Yet, she believes finding her would bring peace to the family. This Christmas marks the second one without her mum, and it’s been really hard.
She mentioned how her Nan is struggling too, constantly worrying about where Fiona is. It’s heartbreaking to see her miss her daughter’s warmth and kindness.
Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn is leading the investigation and is urging anyone with information to come forward. She understands how tough this time is for both families involved.
If you know anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to the police. They’re here to help, and every little bit of information could make a difference.
