Stroud: So, there’s this poor cat named Mittens who got shot in the eye with an air rifle. Can you believe it? Her owners found her super upset when she came home with a nasty injury.
Mittens is just two years old and had to rush to the vet for emergency surgery. They found a pellet stuck in her eye, and sadly, they couldn’t save it. They had to remove her eye. Just heartbreaking!
The local police are on the case, going door to door to figure out what happened. They really want to hear from anyone who might have seen something or has any CCTV footage. If you know anything, they’re asking you to call 101 and mention reference 408 from January 9.
It’s just awful that someone would do this to a sweet cat. The police are urging anyone who noticed anything suspicious around that time to step forward. Let’s hope they find out who did this!
