He just wrapped up a solid loan at Cheltenham Town, where he scored nine goals and assisted three. Cardiff wanted him to step up to League One, and it sounds like they’re hoping he’ll keep that momentum going.
Colwill mentioned he’s heard great things about Exeter and had a good chat with the manager. He feels like he can really make an impact there. He’s looking forward to showing what he can do and helping the team win games.

On another note, there are whispers about Cardiff being interested in Polish midfielder Jakub Kaluzinski. Apparently, they made a bid, but he turned it down, wanting to aim for a bigger club.
There’s also talk about Peterborough’s Hector Kyprianou being on Cardiff’s radar for strengthening their midfield. Meanwhile, winger Raheem Conte is back at Cardiff after a not-so-great loan at Woking.
Conte only managed 13 appearances, which is a bummer considering he showed promise last season. Woking’s director of football acknowledged his potential and hopes he learned from the experience.
