Car Wash Set to Join Greggs in Homebase Car Park at Winnall
A new car wash will open alongside Greggs in the Homebase car park, enhancing local amenities for residents and visitors.

Winchester: So, guess what? A car wash is coming to the Homebase car park, right next to the new Greggs. Orlando Zela, the director of Posh Wash Ltd, got the green light to set up shop there.
They’re planning to put in two parasols, a small office, and some storage. It sounds like they’ll be able to wash about four cars an hour, which isn’t too shabby!
But, to make this happen, they’ll need to tweak the parking layout a bit. They’re also adding those drying parasols, which is pretty cool. You know, it’s all about keeping those cars looking sharp.
Speaking of Greggs, they’re busy building their new spot too. The frame is up, and workers are laying down the concrete floor. It’s all happening at the southern end of the car park.
Now, here’s the catch: the car park will lose some spaces, going from 196 down to 152. But hey, the new restaurant will have a dine-in area for 36 folks and a drive-thru for those on the go.
As for when the car wash or the drive-thru will open? No word on that yet. And there’s some uncertainty about Homebase’s future since they’re having a closing down sale.
