Newport: A car smashed into a fence early on New Year’s Day. It was quite a sight, with the vehicle all wrecked up.

A witness shared that it happened around 8 am on Riverbank Avenue, close to Cow Parsley Way. There were two adults and a toddler inside the car.

The pink and white car looked pretty bad, missing a headlight and its number plate. You could see the damage clearly.

There were even tire tracks on the grass nearby, and the metal fence was knocked out of place. It must have been quite a jolt!

The Argus reached out to Gwent Police for more details, so hopefully, we’ll hear more soon.
