Car set on fire, anti-Semitic graffiti sprayed on wall

Sydney: Early Wednesday morning, a car was set on fire in Woollahra, a suburb with a strong Jewish community. Along with the car, anti-Semitic graffiti was sprayed on nearby buildings and a footpath.

Witnesses reported seeing two individuals, likely between 15 and 20 years old, wearing dark clothing and face coverings. The graffiti included a disturbing message that read “Kill Israiel,” which has raised serious concerns in the community.

Premier Chris Minns condemned the act, calling it an anti-Semitic attack. He assured the public that the police are on the case and that those responsible will be caught and face justice.
