Newport: There was a crash on a country road south of Newport. It happened on the B4239 at St Brides Wentlooge, right between Beach Road and Green Lane. The incident involved just one vehicle.
A spokesperson from Gwent Police mentioned that it was a single-vehicle collision, and thankfully, no injuries were reported. They also noted that the car’s occupants weren’t at the scene when they arrived.
The good news is that the road has been reopened after being closed for a bit. Initially, the police had said the B4239 was closed between Beach Road and Green Lane, and they advised folks to avoid the area if they could.
They even mentioned that diversions might cause some congestion. But now, everything’s back to normal, and drivers can use the road again without any hassle.
