Xana explained to Yahoo Canada that she was just pointing out flaws. “It wasn’t a perfect runway for everyone,” she said. She felt it was all part of the game. And honestly, she thought it made for good TV. They even watched the episode together and had a good laugh about it.
Throughout the season, it seemed like everyone was pretty supportive. Xana mentioned that the vibe was really positive at first. “We were all like, ‘Oh my god, sisters!’” she recalled. It was all love and respect, even if they had their moments on screen.
One of the most touching parts of the season was when Xana talked about her Indigenous heritage. She shared how meaningful it was to have Jaylene Tyme there, especially since she was reconnecting with her roots. Xana felt it was a beautiful moment that went beyond just the show.
She said, “It’s teaching so many people history that they haven’t learned.” It was heartwarming to see two Indigenous people share their experiences on TV, and it really resonated with viewers.
Now, looking ahead, Xana is considering her next steps. She actually tried out for Canada’s Drag Race before and didn’t make it, but she took that as a chance to improve. “I started my audition tape literally the next week,” she shared.
She’s open to diving into more reality TV, like Traitors or even House of Villains. “It would be really cool to be in that reality TV realm, but with drag in a different capacity,” she said. Xana has big plans and is excited about what’s next.
