Calls for Government Action After Farage’s Grooming Scandal Claim
Nigel Farage’s remarks spark renewed demands for a public inquiry into grooming scandals

Bargoed: So, Nigel Farage is stirring the pot again. He’s saying people are really upset that there hasn’t been a full public inquiry into the grooming scandal. It’s a hot topic, for sure.
But here’s the kicker: there was actually a full inquiry that wrapped up in 2022. It was set up back in 2014 by Theresa May when she was Home Secretary. Alexis Jay, who also looked into the Rotherham case, led the inquiry.
In her report, Jay made 20 recommendations, but guess what? The last government didn’t implement any of them. That’s pretty frustrating for those looking for real change.
Now, Jay is saying another inquiry would just be throwing money down the drain since her original one covered all the bases. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly.
And let’s not forget, Labour really needs to step up and act on the findings from that last inquiry instead of just sitting on it like the previous Tory government did. It’s time for some action!
