Temecula: A wild story unfolded when a woman in California fought off an alleged kidnapper who turned out to be her former housekeeper. Erin Quinn was just trying to help with a Christmas toy drive when things took a dark turn.

She got a text from someone claiming to be an elderly woman named Connie, asking her to pick up toys. When she arrived, no one answered the door, so she waited in her car. But when she got back in, she was shocked to find someone in disguise waiting for her.

That someone was Olga Mendez, her former housekeeper. Erin said she was tased multiple times in the head during the attack, which lasted over 30 minutes. She fought back fiercely, even biting Mendez’s finger in self-defense.

After a struggle, Erin managed to pull off the wig and recognized Mendez. She believes the plan was to kidnap her and take her to Mexico. Thankfully, a stranger intervened, and Mendez fled the scene.

Police gathered evidence, including the taser and the wig, and Erin was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Mendez was arrested ten days later and now faces serious charges. What a terrifying experience for Erin!
