Bridport: Cade Robert David Adams, from Church Close, was sentenced to 14 months in prison. This happened at Bournemouth Crown Court.

Police were called to South Street after reports of a man chasing another with a knife. A man had a head injury.

Officers arrived and detained Adams. He faced charges for having a knife, assault, and threatening behavior. This incident happened around 10:20 PM on January 10, 2024.

Later, Adams assaulted another man in West Bay by punching and kicking him. He also attacked a police officer while being arrested.

He was charged with assault and assaulting an emergency worker. This occurred around 8 PM on May 21, 2024.

Then, police responded to reports of Adams with a golf club in Court Close. He damaged a garden fence.

When officers arrived, Adams became violent and assaulted three officers. He was charged with criminal damage and three counts of assaulting emergency workers.

This incident took place around 10:30 PM on September 21, 2024. Adams is banned from certain streets in Bridport from 10 PM to 6 AM for three years.

Sergeant Mike Brown from Dorset Police stated they take violence seriously. Adams caused significant issues for the Bridport community.

He emphasized that the police are committed to holding offenders accountable and will not tolerate such behavior.
