Swansea: Luke Williams is keeping a close eye on Ben Cabango and Harry Darling as they try to recover in time for the big match against Cardiff City this Saturday. Both players have been crucial for the team this season, but Cabango picked up a groin injury recently, which has put his availability in doubt.

Darling is also a concern, and with both of them potentially out, Cyrus Christie and Kyle Naughton stepped in during the recent FA Cup loss to Southampton. Williams mentioned that both players are eager to play, but he’s not sure if they’ll be ready. He’s confident in the other options available, though.

Williams shared that Cabango managed to get some time on the grass during training, which is a good sign, while Darling wasn’t able to train yet. He’s hopeful Darling can join in later this week. The coach really wants both players on the pitch, but he’s also prepared with alternatives.

Josh Ginnelly made his return from a long injury layoff and could be in the mix, but they need to manage his minutes carefully. Youngster Sam Parker is also back from a hamstring injury, and they’re being cautious with him too.

Kristian Pedersen is still out after surgery, but Ollie Cooper is making strides in his recovery. Williams was pleased to see Ollie warming up with the team, which is a positive step forward for him.
