Conwy: So, there’s been a bit of a hiccup with the water supply in Conwy. Dwr Cymru has reported a burst water main at the Bryn Cowlyd Water Treatment Works in Dolgarrog. This is affecting a lot of homes—thousands, in fact.

The water comes from Llyn Cowlyd, which is pretty high up in the Carneddau mountains. Because of this burst, folks in the Conwy Valley and parts of Conwy town are feeling the pinch.

According to a statement, areas like Conwy, Henryd, Rowen, and several others are impacted. Dŵr Cymru is on it, though. They’ve got crews working hard to fix the issue and are rerouting water to keep supplies flowing.

They’re even using tankers to help out as much as they can. Plus, they’re reaching out to vulnerable customers on their Priority Services Register to make sure everyone gets the support they need. Some people have already received bottled water from the staff, which is great to hear.
