These guys, Arturo Mendivil-Valvin, Arturo Flores-Marquez, and Jhony Ramirez-Loayza, all got two years in prison for their sneaky move. The couple had just returned from their holiday when the burglars made their move.
The court heard that the couple had a chauffeur who dropped them off. While the chauffeur was busy unloading their bags, the burglars saw their chance. One of them even snuck into the house while the homeowner was upstairs!
When the homeowner came back down, he spotted one of the burglars leaving. Talk about a shock! The briefcase they took had a bunch of important stuff in it, including cash and sensitive documents.
Luckily, the police were quick to act. They traced the hired car that followed the couple from the airport and arrested the three men the next day. They all admitted to the burglary and are likely to be deported after serving their time.
