Brunson’s 55 Points Propel Knicks to Overtime Victory
Jalen Brunson’s incredible 55-point performance led the Knicks to a thrilling overtime win against the Wizards, extending their winning streak.

New York: Jalen Brunson was on fire! He dropped 55 points, with 42 of those coming after halftime. The Knicks faced off against the Washington Wizards and pulled off a nail-biting 136-132 overtime win.
Brunson was a beast, scoring nine points in overtime alone. Karl-Anthony Towns also had a solid game, racking up 30 points and 14 rebounds. The Knicks are on a roll, winning seven straight games and 17 of their last 21.
On the other side, the Wizards were missing their top scorer, Jordan Poole, due to injury. Justin Champagnie stepped up, scoring 31 points and grabbing 10 rebounds for his second career double-double.
In other NBA action, the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Sacramento Kings 132-122, even without LeBron James. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 36 points and 15 rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder continued their winning streak, taking down the Charlotte Hornets 106-94. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 22 points.
In San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors ended a three-game losing streak by beating the Phoenix Suns 109-105, thanks to Jonathan Kuminga’s 34 points.
The Denver Nuggets held off a late charge from the Detroit Pistons, winning 134-121 with Nikola Jokic scoring 37 points. The Philadelphia 76ers also had a close win over the Utah Jazz, 114-111.
Finally, the Portland Trail Blazers edged out the Dallas Mavericks 126-122, while the Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls also secured wins in their respective games.
