Bridport: Bridport and District Citizens Advice just got a £1,000 boost from Hall & Woodhouse. This money will help them provide free and confidential advice to people in Bridport, Lyme Regis, and Beaminster.

The donation was presented at the annual Community Chest Awards held at the brewery in Blandford. This year, Hall & Woodhouse awarded a total of £30,000 to various groups in the southwest.

The funds are part of a larger £60,000 initiative aimed at supporting local communities. This year’s donation is the biggest since the Community Chest started in 2002.

So far, Hall & Woodhouse has given over £800,000 to more than 900 causes in southern England. Mark Woodhouse, Family Director of Hall & Woodhouse, expressed excitement about this record-breaking fund.

He highlighted the importance of supporting local voluntary organizations and thanked those who contribute to their communities. The Community Chest has been running for 23 years, and they plan to continue this support with more grants in 2025.
