Birmingham: So, there was quite a scene in Birmingham last night. Armed police swooped in and arrested two people on a street. They were suspected of weapons offences, and the area was sealed off for safety.
A witness mentioned that Sherlock Street in Highgate was blocked off around 7 PM. Armed officers were everywhere, and residents could only get through if they showed ID. It must have been quite a sight!
Details about the arrests are still a bit sketchy, but the West Midlands Police said it’s part of a bigger investigation. Sounds like they’re really on top of things.
Another local said the whole street was shut down, and they had to leave their car behind to walk home. It’s a bit of a hassle, but safety first, right?
