Leeds: So, there was this 12-year-old kid who just pleaded guilty to violent disorder. It all went down during some serious chaos in a Leeds suburb last summer.

The court found out he was just 11 when he got involved in what folks around there call the Harehills riot incident. It was a wild scene on July 18, with a patrol car flipped over and a bus set on fire.

This all kicked off after four kids from a Roma family were taken into care. On Tuesday, the boy showed up at Leeds Magistrates’ Court with his parents and confirmed his details before admitting to the charges.

He’s been released on bail until his next court date on February 11, but he’s got a curfew from 7 PM to 7 AM. Quite the situation for a kid, right?
