Chelmsford: The police have found the body of a man who went missing last month. They discovered it at a landfill site after searching for 45 days.

The man, Cumali Turhan, was last seen at The Globe pub in Chelmsford on November 19. His family feared the worst, thinking he might have been murdered.

Detectives worked hard on this case, and it’s been tough for them. They finally found Mr. Turhan’s body on Saturday, and his family has been notified.

Detective Chief Inspector Louise Metcalfe mentioned that the investigation has been really challenging. They’re still looking for a man named Ceyhan Dinler, who left the UK the same day Mr. Turhan was last seen.

Another man, Ciprian Ilie, has already been charged with helping an offender. He appeared in court last month, looking quite emotional in his prison outfit.

Ilie, who is homeless, pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. The judge has kept him in custody until his trial next year.

Police believe Mr. Turhan might have been at another bar after The Globe, but there’s no CCTV showing him leaving. He was reported missing when he didn’t show up for work that day.
