According to Khan, the service will mainly operate through an app. He believes this will offer a more convenient option for the community, which is pretty cool.
He mentioned that the office won’t be a traditional taxi base. Drivers won’t hang out there waiting for rides. Instead, they’ll come by appointment for admin stuff.
The office is next to a secure car park, which is great for safety. It’s only for tenants, so no public parking is allowed, keeping things organized.
Khan is committed to benefiting Blackburn. He plans to hire four full-time and four part-time workers, including students from Blackburn College. That’s a win-win for local employment!
