Birmingham: So, there’s this bar called The Colmore that just announced it’s closed for now. They’re dealing with a water shortage, which is a bummer for everyone looking to grab a drink.

This place has been a hit since it opened in 2018, right on Colmore Row. It’s got this fancy vibe with chandeliers that really makes you feel like you’re in New York.

They’ve got a great selection of drinks, too. From beers to a huge wine list and over 20 types of gin, there’s something for everyone. Plus, their pizza menu is pretty cool, offering 12 different slices inspired by New York.

Originally, the bar was transformed from an old bank by Thornbridge Brewery, aiming for that opulent feel. But today, they had to break the news that they wouldn’t be opening at noon as usual.

They posted on Instagram, saying, “Due to a lack of water at the venue today, we will be closed until further notice. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will provide an update as soon as the issue is resolved.”
