Blue Mountains: So, guess what? They found Marissa Gee! She went missing while hiking, and it was a real nail-biter for six days.
A helicopter crew spotted her around 2:30 PM on Thursday. Can you believe it? She was out there in the bushland, and everyone was worried sick.
She disappeared last Friday, and they launched a huge search operation. It involved the police, ambulance, and even the Rural Fire Service. Talk about teamwork!
They were really concerned because of the extreme heat. It was no joke out there. Thankfully, when they found her, she just had some minor injuries and was dehydrated.
They treated her on the spot and then flew her to Nepean Hospital for a check-up. What a relief for her family and friends!
Before she went missing, she was last seen in Katoomba. The police found her car and tent during the search, which helped narrow things down.
They even sent out a geo-targeted SMS to locals asking for help. It’s great to see the community come together like that.
Police expressed their gratitude to everyone who helped out. It’s a happy ending after a pretty scary situation!
