BEST Announces Extra Bus Services in North Mumbai on January 12

Mumbai: The Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) is stepping up its game for the Erangal Fair 2024. They’re adding extra bus services to help everyone get to the event smoothly.
On January 12, a lot of people are expected to attend the fair, so BEST is making sure there are enough buses running. They’ll have extra services going to and from places like Malad, Marve, Madh, Malvani, and Borivli.
Here’s the scoop: they’ll have buses running from Malad West Station to Erangal, with 8 buses in the morning and 20 in the evening. Plus, there will be services from Marve Beach to Madh Jetty and Borivli West Station to Madh Jetty, among others.
In total, they plan to operate 20 buses in the morning and 37 in the evening, starting at 6 am. If there’s a lot of demand, they’ll add even more buses.
To help everyone out, traffic officers and bus inspectors will be at key spots like Malad West Station and Marve Beach. BEST is encouraging passengers to take advantage of these extra services to avoid any hassle.
The Erangal Fair is a big deal, and it’s part of a nine-day novena at the historic St. Bonaventure Church, which has been around since the Portuguese era. It’s a popular pilgrimage site, and the feast will be celebrated on January 12.
