Bengals Hold Narrow 13-7 Lead Over Steelers at Halftime
The Bengals lead the Steelers 13-7 at halftime after a tense first half filled with missed opportunities and key plays

Cincinnati: It was a nail-biter for the Steelers as they headed into halftime down by six points. They thought they might escape with just a three-point deficit, but the Bengals managed to sneak in another field goal right before the break.
The Steelers had a chance to turn things around when cornerback Beanie Bishop snagged an interception with just over a minute left. But, man, they just couldn’t catch a break. They had three first downs called back after reviews showed they were short. The last one was a tough fourth-down run by Jaylen Warren, which gave the Bengals the ball at the Steelers’ 37-yard line.
Joe Burrow then connected on three passes, pushing the Bengals close to the end zone. But they couldn’t finish it off, so they settled for another field goal from Cade York, making it 13-7 at halftime.
For the Steelers, it could have been worse. The Bengals had five trips into their territory, but thanks to Bishop’s interception and a batted pass by Cam Heyward, they managed to keep the score from getting out of hand. Plus, they were only down six points after a fumble by their punt returner, Calvin Austin, earlier in the game.
Now, the Steelers need to step up their offense if they want to turn this game around. Najee Harris did score a one-yard touchdown on their only decent drive, but Russell Wilson has only completed 4 of 8 passes for 45 yards and has been sacked twice. They ended the half with just 75 yards total.
On the flip side, Burrow is looking sharp, completing 21 of 27 passes for 153 yards and a touchdown to Ja’Marr Chase. The Bengals have racked up 172 yards, but they need to convert that into more points on the board.
