Bedford: It’s a tough situation here. Three teenagers were arrested after a 17-year-old named Thomas Taylor was fatally stabbed. It all went down near a bus station, and the whole community is reeling.

According to the police, Thomas was attacked by a group of guys while he was walking along Greenhill Street. It happened around 5:50 PM on Wednesday. He was rushed to the hospital but sadly didn’t make it.

Tributes have been pouring in for him. His headteacher at Bedford Academy described him as a “popular, well-liked, and respected lad.” He had just finished his exams and was set to continue his studies.

Two of the suspects are 18, and one is 17. They’re all in custody now, and police are looking into the case thoroughly. A man in his 60s was also arrested for allegedly helping the offenders but has been released on bail.

Detective Inspector Richard Stott called the whole thing “absolutely shocking.” He’s urging anyone who saw anything to come forward. The community is really shaken up, and the school is focused on supporting Thomas’s family and helping students cope with this tragic loss.
