Bears Coach Claims No Confusion in Timeout Mismanagement
Bears interim coach Thomas Brown insists there was no confusion during a critical timeout sequence in their recent loss to the Seahawks

Chicago: The Bears faced off against the Seahawks and ended up losing 6-3. It was a tough game, and things got messy during a crucial moment.
With just over five minutes left, the Bears had a chance to either tie or take the lead. They had all their timeouts, so they could afford to take their time. But, as usual, they managed to waste it.
After a first down, things started to go downhill. They gained only a yard on the next two plays, and the clock kept ticking. Suddenly, they were in a tough spot on 4th-and-inches.
They decided to go for it, but a false start pushed them back. So, Coach Brown sent out the punt team, called a timeout, then changed his mind and sent the offense back out. It was a bit of a head-scratcher.
Luckily, Caleb Williams made a great play, but they still wasted a lot of time and ended up with negative yards. The crowd was not happy, and you could see Williams was frustrated.
As the game went on, they burned another timeout due to confusion at the line. Fans were booing, and it was just a mess. They let precious seconds slip away, and it felt like they were losing control.
In the end, they could have tried a long field goal but opted to go for the first down instead. Unfortunately, they didn’t get it, and the game ended with an interception.
When asked about the timeout situation, Coach Brown said there was no confusion, just a change of mind. He wanted to be more aggressive, but that didn’t sit well with frustrated Bears fans.
Now, they have one more game left against the Packers, and fans are just hoping for a better outcome.
