London: Dr Punam Krishan, known from BBC Morning Live and Strictly Come Dancing, has opened up about her battle with imposter syndrome. She’s been feeling it a lot, even though many see her as super confident.

At 41, she was paired with Gorka Márquez on Strictly 2024, where they performed a traditional Bollywood dance. It was a first for the show, and she’s learned to embrace new opportunities through this experience.

Dr Punam mentioned that she’s working on her self-belief and plans to say yes to everything in 2025. She’s excited about her upcoming projects, including a book and her role as a GP, while also being part of BBC Morning Live.

Even with a busy schedule, she won’t be joining the Strictly Come Dancing Live! tour. She explained that balancing her NHS work with the tour would be too much, but she’ll be cheering on her friends from the sidelines.

In addition to her TV work, Dr Punam is collaborating with Gas Safe Register to raise awareness about carbon monoxide poisoning. She’s concerned that many people, especially younger ones, don’t recognize the symptoms, which can be mistaken for common colds.

She emphasized the importance of knowing the signs of carbon monoxide exposure, as it can be serious. Dr Punam is passionate about educating others, especially since many vulnerable individuals are affected by this issue.
