London: Casualty fans were all abuzz after the latest episode featuring Indie Jankowski, played by Naomi Wakszlak. She made quite the entrance as the new student paramedic.

Viewers might remember her from a Christmas episode where she had a rocky start with Jan during her training. But after a pep talk from Jan, Indie was determined to do her placement at Holby, and it was a wild ride.

In her first shift, Indie faced a real nightmare. There was a drive-by shooting, and she had to help a victim who was hiding a gun. Talk about intense!

Things got even crazier when she discovered a young boy who had been shot. Indie had to think fast and convinced the man to give up the gun by saying he could lose his leg if he didn’t get to the hospital quickly.

But then, she found the boy with a gunshot wound to the chest. It was a heart-stopping moment, and Indie was so shocked that she struggled to give him the medication. Thankfully, Jan stepped in to help.

By the end of the episode, the boy’s mom hugged Indie, thanking her for saving his life. It was a touching moment that really hit home.

Fans took to X to share their love for Indie. One person said, “Loving Indie already!” while another called her an “absolute queen.” It seems like she’s already won everyone over!

Casualty airs every Saturday on BBC One and iPlayer, so fans can’t wait to see what happens next!
