Newport: An aviation asset specialist has just set up shop in a brand-new global headquarters. AerFin, known for buying, selling, and repairing aircraft and parts, has moved into a spacious 116,000 square foot facility at Indurent Park.

The CEO, Simon Goodson, shared that this new spot in South Wales is a big deal for AerFin’s growth. It shows their commitment to delivering reliable services to customers all over the world, with key locations in Miami, Singapore, Dublin, and London Gatwick.

Indurent Park is expected to be a key player in their expansion, helping them serve a global customer base while staying connected to their Welsh roots. The new facility will double their engine maintenance capacity, allowing for up to 200 quick-turn shop visits each year.

They’ve decked out the headquarters with modern tech, including warehouse automation and eco-friendly processes. There’s also over 13,600 square feet of office space, 125 parking spots (20 of which have electric vehicle chargers), and top-notch meeting rooms.

Simon Bayliss, the chief operational officer, called this move a game-changer. He believes it sets the stage for a bright future as they gear up for growth in 2025 and beyond.

Hannah Bryan-Williams, who manages development and leasing at Indurent, expressed excitement about AerFin joining the park. She noted that they designed Indurent Park to meet the rising demand for sustainable industrial spaces, catering to both global companies and local businesses.

The facility is also recognized for its sustainability, boasting a BREEAM Excellent accreditation, which puts it in the top 10 percent of UK buildings. It features rooftop solar panels, a rainwater harvesting system, and energy-efficient lighting, all built with sustainable materials.
