Arrest Made After Man Left Critical Following Assault in Dublin Car Park

A man has been arrested after another was critically injured in a west Dublin car park assault

Dublin: A man was arrested after a serious assault in a car park in west Dublin. This incident left another man in critical condition.

The arrested man is in his 20s and was taken into custody by the Gardaí from the Serious Crime South Unit in Clondalkin. The alleged assault happened on Saturday, January 4th, 2025.

It all went down around 5 PM at a car park on St. Cuthbert’s Road in Clondalkin. A man in his 40s was seriously hurt during the incident.

Right now, the injured man is getting treatment at Beaumont Hospital, and his condition is still critical.

A Garda spokesperson mentioned they’re looking for anyone who might have seen what happened. They’re asking folks to reach out to Clondalkin Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line if they have any info. The investigation is still ongoing.
