For our seniors, there’s a bunch of fun activities lined up. On January 9, there’s a luncheon at Fletcher Warren Civic Center, plus games like billiards and bingo. It’s a great way to kick off the new year with friends!
Also, Caddo Mills Fire Rescue is hosting a Push In Ceremony on January 11. It’s a cool event for the community, so swing by if you can. And if you’re a fan of pool, the Parks and Rec is holding an 8-ball shootout on the same day. Registration is just $15, and you need to be 17 or older to join.
Wesley United Methodist Church is starting a GriefShare group on January 19 for anyone dealing with loss. It’s a supportive space, so reach out if you’re interested.
And don’t forget about the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s performance at the Municipal Auditorium on January 19. It’s a perfect way to enjoy some culture without the Dallas traffic!
Later in the month, Dr. Kara Vuic will speak at the WWII History Roundtable on January 23. She’s written several books on women in WWII, so it should be really insightful.
Finally, mark your calendars for the Rhythm in Our Blues concert on January 25. It’s a fun event featuring a “Boy Bands vs. Girl Bands” theme, and it’s free!
If you’re looking to showcase your singing talent, auditions for The Voice of Hunt County are open until January 31. Just send in your videos!
Last but not least, the Greenville Chamber of Commerce’s annual banquet is on February 7. Tickets are available, so check it out if you want to support local businesses. There’s something for everyone this month, so get out there and enjoy!
